Natalie Cole....seriously!?!

I really like this show and I thought everyone did an excellent job with their performances. Jewel stole the show from everyone, though. Although there is one performer who I thought did not do that great...Natalie Cole. Her singing was very good, but her acting as Glinda was very blah. She didn't deliver any emotion to her lines, and it seemed as though she was chosen as a last minute replacement just before the show started. Everytime I listen to the soundtrack, I cringe everytime she speaks. I really hate to sound so mean, but it's just my opinion. I think they could have chosen someone a little better for Glinda.

I think the four that were the best were

Jewel: Dorothy
Roger Daltrey: Boq the Tin Man
Nathan Lane: Cowardly Lion (100%)
Joel Grey: Wizard of Oz

This is one thing I'm getting quite sick of, in the "Wizard of Oz" Boq is not the Tin Man, he's not even the Tin Man in the "Wicked" novel, in TWoOz the Tin Man is not given a name except for the Tin Woodsman, and in "Wicked" and "The Tin Woodsman of Oz" the Tin Man is actually a munchkin called Nick Chopper who's axe is enchanted to chop him to pieces by The Wicked Witch of the East aka Nessarose. In simple terms in no other medium other than the stage musical of Wicked is the Tin Woodsman named Boq, so he should not be referred to by that name in anything other than Wicked.

Sorry for being a little OTT but it's one of the changes to the musical that really annoys me.

This is also the case in the original book, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". Except in the original book, it is only known that The Wicked Witch of the East enchanted Nick Chopper's axe to keep him from marrying the woman he loved, whereas in "Wicked" we find out that a peasant woman has asked Nessarose to do this.

Not true. In 'The Wizard of Oz', a peasant woman does indeed have the Wicked Witch of the East enchant the Tin Woodman's axe. She wants to keep his beloved as a servant and so promises the Witch two sheep and a cow if she can prevent the marriage.
It's been years since I read "Wicked" but isn't this information delivered by one of the animals (or Animals) that was transacted?

I'm sorry to say, but you're wrong. The Wizard of Oz film and Wicked are canon to each other. So yes, Boq is the Tin Man. It isn't in the book. So sorry. I'm right, you're wrong.

I love you, Kristen Stewart. :) You are so beautiful and talented. I would love to perform with you.
