there's no mention of it on the main page?
the dvd's are 1:33:1, so i take it the film was shot this way too?
The version I just saw is 16:9 ...

The film was shot open (1.33-1 meant to be cropped for 1.85-1 for theatrical distribution) so the 1.33-1 presentation you have is probably just open matte and not the dreaded pan/scan. If your TV is 16.9 I suggest you try to zoom in the picture (crop out the top and bottom). I have the director's cut dvd and it presents the film in 1.85-1.
