I'll go with Anne Heche. I think she is very sexy and totally underrated as an actress.

Why do I have to pick? Why can't I have both??

I believe that Bernardo Bertolucci directed "The Last Emperor" - she co-starred in it.

Joan Chen has only directed two movies - "Xiu Xiu: The Sent-Down Girl" (good) and "Autumn in New York" (haven't seen).

ANNE HECHE. She was a revelation in this movie: erotic, stylish, sexy and intense. She made Joan Chen look like a passive doll in comparison. Anne never got any better than this, unfortunately. Guess it takes a great director to bring out the true hotness in any actress.

I have to disagree. I think Anne is very underrated. See gave a magnificent performance is Six Day Seven Nights and in Return to Paradise. She has a great smile and her eyes light up in certain moments. For instance, the scene in Six Day Seven Nights whereshe goes to the hospital to visit Quinn. She asks him, so what's the deal betwen them. You can see passion and sadness in her eyes when Quinn says they each have their own seperate lives. Very touching scene for me.

I agree! Heche is SO underrated! I think she stills most scenes she's in. Very natural acting ability. Her brief moments in Milk Money were the most memorable for me of that film.
