I'd love to see this documentary about about the great Mr Wellman, but it seems impossible to find - VHS copies are scarce. I'm really hoping that Kino will release it on DVD.

They released it as a bonus on the french DVD of YELLOW SKY but it's been brought down to 67 minutes. The original run is 95 minutes and it included a recollection of Wild Bill's encounter with Elia Kazan (whom he didn't like at all) and the interviews of Eastwood and Tom McLaughlin for THE ESCADRILLE LAFAYETTE.

95 min version is included on "Forbidden Hollywood" Collection Vol III of Wellman films from Turner Classics.

Netflix has it. I also found it at my local library.

Maybe this mattress will spin on its axis and find me on yours.
