you should try british council. I don't know where you live, but most european capitals have a british council library, which includes books, dvds, cds and stuff. mine has around 16 sean bean movies, which are impossible to find for rent. then again, they are all available on amazon.co.uk, but its expensive. so, my advice to you: try british council. good luck!

this film was never released in Region 0 or 1 format--I am a huge Sean Bean fan, so I looked EVERYWHERE before I gave in and bought a DVD player that plays DVDs from every region. However, all-region DVD players are relatively inexpensive (mine was around 110 including S/H) and will save you trouble of searching for region 1 all the time. (If you also like Orlando Bloom, his film The Calcium Kid is also only Region 2, or was when I bought it)

If you want, reply to me and I can see if I can find the link for the distributor for the one I have--I love it! Now if I could just fix my DVD-Rom drive to play all-region DVDs.... *sigh*

I caved. I waited for years for a region 1 dvd. I bought a region free player and ordered the movie through amazon. What a great film!
