When Dawn asked Steve to be member of Special People did she..........

She came out on a mission to find Steve, and when she found him he was with a girl. Do you think Dawn was planning to ask him something else, like about being her boyfriend or something and changed to the story about the special people club when she saw the girl?

yes, she was going to ask him to be her boyfriend, but didn't because the girl was there.
