Strange choice of music

I wonder if anybody noticed too but in one early scene when the Smokers attack the settlement at one point the music motif breaks out into some Indiana Jones fanfare which is not suited, it doesn’t work there. James Newton Howard is a great composer but someone needed to step in like Costner and Reynolds and say, “what the hell is this? Are you kidding me?” Lol.
