A very strange piece of trivia in the trivia section

To quote : "In the original ending of the film, we learn that The Mariner isn't leaving simply because he is freaked out over Dryland or that he feels he truly belongs on the open waters of Waterworld. He reveals to Helen that there may be other mutants like himself out there and that he must find them to tell them about Dryland and Helen."

He must find them to tell of Helen? What exactly is he going to tell them? That there is this rather mundane looking woman who is down to clown around with mutants? Is she going to open a brothel on dryland for mutants or what is the plan here? I mean there is nothing special about her in any other way.

I figured sense no one answered this I would. The original ending was cut, what he really tells Helen is that Priam mentioned there might be other mutants similar to him out there (hiding or whatever) he said he had to know, and when he said if he finds other people like her I think he meant other people that weren't pieces of *beep* or hate mutants that he could send to her.
