John-Boy's face at the altar

There is this one shot of him looking down the aisle at his bride and he looks scared. Not happy, not nervous, not calm. Terrified. WTF? It cracks me up.

Don't puke in the punch and tell me it's alphabet soup.

I just got through watching that scene of this movie ( on the HALLMARK Channel today as part of a Waltons Labor Day Movie Marathon ) . To me it looked more like he was so very breath-taken with the way his new bride looked coming down the aisle ( but also a bit scared at the same time too ) . This was a great TV movie and the one character I missed the most in this was Grandpa Zeb ( played by well remembered actor Will Geer - who passed on in 1978 ) . I was glad his picture was shown on the Walton Family living room wall though . Thanks CKelly18 for your subject post .

I am watching that movie right now (on the Hallmark channel as part of the Waltons Memorial Day marathon), and I agree with you ms-zanadu, I think he is just awe-struck at the beauty of his bride. I was thinking that they may decide to call off the wedding when he asked her how she felt about large families, and she said that she was nervous around babies...

Oh no I missed this movie yesterday . Well perhaps it will be shown on the HALLMARK Channel again one fine day . I hope you had a great weekend womenofbocc and enjoyed this movie also ( it was a good one ) . I had forgotten that John-Boy's new wife had said that in this movie because there was another movie on TV after this one where his new wife was having their first baby . At the moment I forget what the name of this movie was and what year but I know it was definitely after this movie ( so strange I can't remember off hand here - sorry ) . Thanks womenofbocc for your reply .
