...about four white men whose wives and girlfriends are dumping for black men, and they spend the entire movie bitching and crying about black men stealing their women.

Can you imagine the national outcry? You'd have Jesse Jackson calling for a nationwide boycott of the studio that made the movie, you'd have Al "Slab of Ham" Sharpton marching down the streets of Hollywood, screaming into a bullhorn about how racist this movie is, you'd have Black Lives Matter starting riots all across the country over it.

Oh, but Waiting to Exhale demonizes and villifies white women, and it's OK, because "black people cannot be racist". SMFH

All those who hate Katherine Heigl can eat s-t and die!!!

This is cute, except that it's complete *beep* There isn't a white person on god's green earth that would willingly trade races with a black person because they all know full well that black people's lives are inherently made more difficult by their race, and that's verifiable fact. The world you're talking about, where white men have to deal with their white women constantly leaving them for black men, specifically in order to "trade up" DOES NOT EXIST, while the world where black men leave their black women for white women specifically bc they feel white women are an upgrade IS THE WORLD WE CURRENTLY LIVE IN. Congrats to you that you can go about your life without having to acknowledge or deal with that fact, but it is fact. And most white women who date black men (especially those that date black men who view white girlfriends as a social and status upgrade) are quite vocal about the fact that they consider themselves as better than black women. But go ahead, keep making false equivalences as if black people and white people inhabit the same positions of power with regards to each other, keep pretending that black people have the same historical and present societal status as white people, keep casting aspersions on black rights activists and their movements. None of that will change reality OR this movie, but enjoy your hissy fit just the same.

PS Next time, try actually watching the damn movie - it spends the vast majority bashing crappy black men, it devotes barely two full scenes to "bad-mouthing" white women (read: ONE white character). Your whining-ass post was longer than the time spent in this movie "vilifying" white women. I sure hope you spend even half as long complaining about all the negative depictions of black men and black women in just about every "white" movie in existence. You want a movie that DOESN'T vilify white women, that treats THEM as the most desirable love interest?? Head on over to the IMDB main page and take your damn pick.

I think my point, SJW s***head, is that racism is racism no matter what race it is. I don't care how hard black people have it, that doesn't excuse hating white people.

I've never once heard white women put down black women. Not ONCE. Meanwhile, black women (as well as black men) denigrate and insult white women CONSTANTLY, putting out songs about how they're "cave bitches" and other BS. Who's out of touch with reality? I believe we've had a black President for the last eight years. In addition to that, black people are currently dominant in the fields of sports and entertainment (have you turned on MTV and VH1 lately? There's not much difference between those channels and BET, seriously), so don't give me this crap that black people have absolutely NO power whatsoever. In a few decades, white people will be a minority. By that point, you won't be able to whine any longer about how "difficult" it is to be black.

PS Yes, I have watched the f-ing movie. Have you? It isn't just one character-who is villified in part for being white-you also have Wesley Snipes' character being revealed to be involved with a white woman (after Angela Bassett falls for him), you have another character walking in on her teenage son getting oral sex from a white girl (GASP! Horrors!), you have another character telling her drug-addicted low-life boyfriend that "a white girl can have (his) ass". But it's OK, because white people are the skunk of the planet Earth, right? "the negative depictions of black men and black women in just about every 'white' movie in existence". Uh, have you been watching any of the recent movies lately? This isn't the 1920's. Racist movies like Birth of a Nation (the DW Griffith movie, not the one from last year), where the KKK are depicted as heroes, aren't being made anymore-and if they were made, believe me, the uproar would be massive. They hardly ever make movies where black people are the bad guys anymore, or ones where black women are depicted in a negative light. It's, more often than not, straight white males who are depicted in movies as responsible for all of the world's problems. But, then again, what else do you expect from the PC liberals in Hollywood?
