How does 'The Viking Sagas' compare to the TV series 'Vikings'?

I've seen a couple episodes of the History Channel's 2013 TV series "Vikings" and was very impressed with the production values, actors and story.

How does "The Viking Sagas" compare to "Vikings"? Which one comes across more realistic? Which one is more historically accurate?

The TV show is more authentic, but the number of people in a Chiefdom is more realistic in this movie (7-10 people) rather than the TV show (dozens of people). Also, the TV show does take some liberties with the authenticity and the source material, but then again, what movie/TV show doesn't?
