Eddie and Wes are sure to thank the year of 1996

I'm definitely sure Wes Craven and Eddie Murphy were happy as hell when next year gave them their deserved comebacks, with "Scream" and "The Nutty Professor" respectively. That being said, this was such a bad film that it was degrading to see those involved in the production.

OK, both Wes and Eddie have seen better days, but I didn't think the film was THAT bad...

this movie isn't bad when you look at the crap we had nowadays... cursed, pluto nash that's bad!!

Craven's comback was actually in 94 with New Nightmare.

New Nightmare was the last gasp. Scream was the resuscitation.

Totally disagree. I loved New Nightmare and it was critically acclaimed, but it did not do well for Wes at the box office. Scream was his come back. There is no questioning that.

This may not of been the best Vampire movie, but it was a decent vampire comedy.

It wasn't their best work, but it's pretty funny and entertaining. I've seen it many times over the years.

Eddie Murphy hates this movie. I've seen him deride this movie in interviews. He said that it was hard to take people praising the movie to him after the premiere, because he felt the praise was insincere.

Holy shït, this thread was started back in February '03, and is almost 15 years old. But I'll add my 2 cents anyway. Anyone telling Eddie Murphy they enjoyed this film, IS being insincere and lying to him. This movie was a lot of things, but good isn't one of them.

Rest In Peace Roxy 9/2/16
