Any chance to obtain the long (197 min) CINEMA version DVD?

I have bought 2 DVDs from 2 different sources (one Serbian, one Russian) at the exactly the same movie lenght - 164 min. Is there exists the longer (197 min) DVD version? I have heard it has been shown only in the Cannes Festival long time ago. I have recorded it from french cinema channel C CINEMA AUTEUR when it was showing about 8 years ago (one or two times actually, they unfortunately never repeated it) but the record has been garbled and I've lost several moments of the additional footage so I am looking for a longer Cannes version for about the same time...

i havent seen this film yet but i read that there was a 300min version made for tv

yup, I've been looking all over the director's cut version about 300 min lenght but I can't track it anymore, I once had it on my computer but before I could find some subtitles my hdd crashed so I lost it ):

Apparently there was a long version (195 min) in at least this is claims here (http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=8599). However, apart from the 3 disc collector edition TF1 Vidéo is selling now (167 min), the only other version I could find distributed by them was also a 167 min version.

Maybe the running time or the distribution company is wrong on that web site (I checked Hungarian and German editions and they are all under 170 min). I've seen it on television a few years ago and I got the impression that it was around 195 min.

To the best of my knowledge, all the versions around the world on DVD and VHS are the short version only, not the extended 195 minute version which was shown at Cannes. And I think the only place the 300 minute full version has been shown is on Serbian TV. I'm sure one day (in ten years time) some boutique DVD label will box set it and make the full version available (like Criterion did for Fanny och Alexander).

I am absolutely sure I have 197 min version that's been shown in Cannes, it's missing seconds to minute. This version is with Serbian sound and hard encoded French subtitles.

There is a longer 300 minute version only for TV and it is shown only in Serbia and Bulgaria (because part of the film was shot in Bulgaria), but unfortunately there ain't a DVD with this version. It can be acquired only through internet piracy.

I saw the 300 min. version as a five-or-six episode series on Dutch tv as well and have been waiting for a DVD set of it to come out. No luck so far. Other than that, we'll just have to make do with the 164 min. version. Given the reputation of the movie it's bound to come out sooner or later.

I can't believe this hasn't been released on DVD yet.
