Jenny McCarthy?

JM claimed to have auditioned for this movie, and that Seagal ordered her to take off her dress in his office. She supposedly told him to watch her Playboy video then ran out crying. http://www.popeater.com/2010/04/15/steven-seagal-made-jenny-mccarthy-cry/

If this is true, what part could she possibily have played? Heigl is 6 years younger, so I doubt McCarthy was up for the role of Sarah Ryback. This would have been one of McCarthy's first movies, so maybe it was the busty woman who distracts the bad guys with her cleavage (probably the role of "Lady Hostage" that went to Ginger Lewis).

I'm not sure why McCarthy would have been auditioning for this movie in the first place.

Kelly, the barmaid.

Meh!

Who the hell cares? McCarthy and her disgusting unfeminine antics are thankfully long gone and forgotten.

I think McCarthy was up for the Playmate in the first Under Siege, not this one. And of course every female lead in a Saegal flick must get man handled by him. His years of Martial Arts training can easyly influence the decision making progress to alert him that all women want him!

Sandra Taylor as Kelly the Barmaid is a lot better looking than Jenny! Wonder if Seagal made her undress too? Disgusting...

reply

I hope not. She would have been 16 or 17 at the time. That would break more than a few laws.

Yeah she was up for the Barmaid role. They wanted another Erika Elaniak esque Playboy hottie and she was the hot choice because she followed Anna Nicole as Playmate of the year in 1994.

She would have been okay if not better than the woman they cast.

What ever happened I'm glad it worked out like it did. Sandra Taylor as the barmaid is hot. Ever seen her spread?
