I thought there would be at least one topic heavily criticising this but refreshing to not see that.

I saw this around 1997 and really enjoyed it, watching it again now and I remember why.

There are people around who call this "A crappy movie" etc..., and that it is innacurate, so I expected the same here.
Maybe there isn't that many who have seen it (Not that they SHOULD be calling it crappy!).

Anyway, I find it an enjoyable watch.

I remember when I first saw this movie several years ago. I thought it was great and it actually really inspired me to want to box!

I've never heard anyone criticise it, but then again I'm not sure I've ever met anyone else who has even seen it. Overall, I thought it was well-done, especially for a HBO original, and I thought Michael Jai White did an excellent job as Mike Tyson.

Most people that might hate it, are these mindless boxing fans who only care about KO's and would boo a fighter if there was a decision.. There is more to Tyson than his fights I'm more a fan of his early life and determination.
