What was the deal?
With the woman in the Basement?
Was he husband pimping kids down to her? Was it her interest or her husbands? Anybody have a clue abou twhat was going on with that part?
Don't know but it was apparent that both she and her husband had sexual problems with each other. He revealed to her something after they married. He was either impotent, liked kids, or was queer. Maybe all three.
But Genero in the voice over says that all the kids in the neighboorhood didn't like the doctor and thought he was strange so I think he liked kids.
