Started me off on a long path

I am what could definately be called a Jack of all Trades, I do a lot of things. And one of them is I write books, both of the fiction and non-fiction varieties. Well, I first saw this film when I was thirteen, and the only real exposure I had to the Presidency was the early stages of what would become the Clinton-Lewinski scandel (and yes, as a 13 year old boy, I made as many stupid jokes as everyone else, it is now nothing more than regretable, I mocked history in the making), but this film painted a portrait of a man misunderstood in his own time, and barely understood by historians of "modern times". But I was absolutely fascinated, and I sought out more about the man, and to my surprise, here was a dramatic film that didn't have to deviate from the truth to find a great story. But I also learned that there are several threads running through the very office of the President of the United States, and I began writing these things down just to keep them straight in my own head. Well now I am going to compile my notes into a book about the changing dynamic of the Presidency in the 20th Century, and I am padding it out with more research. I've been spending long weekends in libraries looking through old newspapers, and am currently getting ready to make trips to the Carter, Ford, and Reagan libraries. It is hard to remain objective (I am a "dirty, bleeding-heart liberal") but it has been an enlightening journey, and I hope it will continue to be such, and it all started from a tv movie.

God Bless!

ps, when it finally is ready, please buy my book ;)

This reply might be a bit late, about eight years or so, but did you ever get that book published?

In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
