Bad Direction

I get irritated by Ms. Silverstone's huge upper lip and hair in her face is extra annoying. In this movie she moved slow. Her grimace of emotional angst at the end was not convincing and even annoying. She saw the guy kissing a corpse. Why didn't she run like greased lightning when he came after her? And what girl would cry over the death of a serial killer? This movie needs a better script.

She was a virgin and he was her first sexual experience; she loved him and they had become "one flesh." Of course she's going to cry; not necessarily for the murderous piece of sheet, but for the way everything went so horribly wrong in her first love relationship.

As far as the script goes, everything was good except for who the killer turned out to be. It was just too obvious. A couple of imaginative tweaks in the script and this would've been a satisfying teen crime thriller. Still, it's worth seeing if you like Silverstone and movies like "The Crush" and "Clueless." But it pales in comparison.
