Friend accidentally rented this for school thinking it was ROMEO+Juliet

I always smile wistfully when I remember my friend trying to write a paper on the wonderful Shakespeare tale and then going to Blockbuster to rent it and accidentally leaving the store with Tromeo and Juliet. Let's just say it took him about 20 minutes into the movie before the inevitable "What in the name of sweet holy hell is this thing?" came out. This was all before he finally actually READ the cover.

While he couldn't put the movie to good use, the rest of us happily got our hands on the movie as it was re-watched about 3 times that weekend. Or at least, the "battle scenes" were highlighted.

*Five* minutes? The first shot of the film is a dead squirrel on a noose!

Also, doesn't Blockbuster refuse to carry Troma films? O_o

I was pretty stoked when they had it up on Netflix for instant viewing. I just told my aunt it was updated adaption of Romeo and Juliet. She left the room fairly quickly. I don't know why.

I didn't think Blockbuster carried Troma movies.
