The firat underwater test was Shot Baker, and was part of a two-weapons series called Operation Crossroads. Check out the film "Radio Bikini" for info on that. The 2nd underwater test, involving the deep water detonation and the 3 unmanned submarines, was Operation Wigwam.

"Mike" was the first hydrogen bomb test, the 10-Megaton "wet bomb." It was part of Operation Ivy.

It is my favorite documentery. There were three underwater shots in the documentery. Still, my favorite shots were Upshot Knothole Grable (Atomic Annie, the artillery cannon) and the Castle shots. My only complaint is that the full footage of Tsar Bomba was not in the documentery.
