I think what made Aftershocks better was the laughs.
There were so many funny parts, what are your favs?
Mine is definitely
"What does this do to your disposition?"
(Graboid-radar beeping hysterically)
And when the graboid was approaching from underground with the Spanish song playing from the radio in its stomach.
My favorite part of this movie was when Bert arrives and Grady says, "Man, think you got a big enough truck?" and Bert replies by asking Earl, "He the ne guy?"
