Decent sequel

It's a pretty fun little B monster movie that manages keep the fun of the original, but also changes things up a bit. The little creatures that came out of the creatures we're pretty cool, and I think this movie was a bit more grotesque compared to the original film. It's too bad Kevin Bacon wasn't in this one though, as I didn't care for his "replacement". Any way, I give this movie a 6/10.

Much better than I expected. Some of the minor characters were a little annoying, and the group as a whole didn't have the chemistry that Val and Earl did, but it's still miles better than the stuff that usually goes DTV. 7/10 from me.

This is where the magic happens... and by "magic", I mean nothing.

I'd go as high as a 7.5 or 8.0 out of ten. Losing Bacon was tough, but bringing back Fred Ward and Michael Gross really make the film.

I also loved the tweaking they did. They think at the start that everything is figured out, and then damn if the Graboids don't surprise them.

I love to love my Lisa.

Aftershocks is a worthy sequel and pretty underrated, especially considering the rest of the franchise.

I think this film benefits from the fact it was originally intended as a theatrical sequel with many of those elements remaining intact as it transformed into a DTV entry.
