Is chris farley in heaven or hell?

what do u guys think

im pushing for heaven,
but come on he commited every sin in the book

reply

Well, if he's in hell, he's probably too busy to notice, cuz he's prolley too busy shaking hands with all of his friends who ended up there before him.

(although I hope he's in heaven. Hopefully makin' St. Peter laugh his @$$ off.)

reply

hold on, "commited every sin in the book"?

what sin did he commit besides taking massive amounts of drugs?

did he steal? murder? commit adultery? etc.?

so he took a lot of cocaine and heroin... that's it. he was only hurting himself, not anyone around him, so i don't think that's a huge sin either.

so he's probably in heaven, if that exists.

I bet you a hundred bucks it doesn't exist though.

reply

so right, but i read on the chris farley foundation website that he was a devoted catholic and went to church nearly every week...i believe he went to heaven...he made people laugh and sure he did drugs but he was still a wonderful person

When I grow up, I'm going to Bovine University!

reply

I'll bet you my life it does.

That would be gluttony. But f uck that. Wherever he is he's throwing the most killer party in history, and all the cool people are invited. That and everyone's already dead, so it's a 24/7 stupor for all!

And as we wind on down the road...

reply

How did I completely forget gluttony? Duh...

Yet one could argue that Farley was not guilty of gluttony (or at least forgiven) because of his trade as a comedian, especially the (difficult/painful) physical comedy he was so well-known for.

Also agree about the party, with Gilda Radner, Belushi, Farley, & Phil Hartman, they've got a way better cast than today.

I bet you a hundred bucks heaven does exist. Now to prove or disprove it... I do believe in God and heaven.

reply

According to Little Nicky, Chris is in heaven.

Well, according to the E! THS, Chris was very religious so regardless of whatever sin he committed on Earth I'm sure, if it exists, he's in heaven with Sammy Davis Jr. I was always taught as long as you accept Jesus in your life you go to heaven.

But it's a non-issue, it doesn't really matter, he's not here.

He always wore a crucifix necklace.

I think he was very regretful for taking drugs, after the first dose it ain't really a sin he couldn't help it. I think and hope he made to heaven.

I do whatever my guitar tells me to do..

reply

Yeah, and when his body was discovered, they found rosary beads in his hands.

reply

Does it matter where he is?
As long as he's still making people laugh, why does it matter?
Besides, how do you know that there isn't a place where comedians go when they die... like... The Last Laugh Club..... or something...

Bottom line, he made too many people happy to be punished in the afterlife. Isn't that what life is about, trying to make others happy?

reply

Better late than never. The verse of the Bible you are referring to means the "spiritually" dead people are contious of nothing.

In response to:
==============================================================================
"The Bible states that when the soul dies, it goes back to the ground.
The Bible book of Ecclesiastes 9: 5,10 states how " The dead are absloutely conscious of nothing at all." Look it up in you're own family Bible. You just might find that quite interesting.

So, really, if the dead are conscious of nothing at all, then why would Chris be floating around in heaven? Interesting thought isn't it?"
==============================================================================

The Bible might say that people who are "dead" are not conscious of anything but if you read other parts of the Bible, like John 3:16 it states that if you believe in God, you WILL NOT PARISH but have everlasting LIFE. People in hell are the only ones that are considered "dead".

reply

Listen up, Chris is up in heavan rite now, drunk as a fruckin monkey.
He lived a good life to his fullest. Just beause he did some blow (coke to nonusers, doesnt mean hes gonna burn

reply

yo poophead up there i bet you hes in heaven and i bet you a million bucks that heaven exists

reply

I believe that he is probably in Heaven.

I gotta get a bazooka!

reply

I think he's in heaven, if it exists. Sure, he had some vices, but he made people laugh, and he seemed like a really great guy.

excellent topic!

whether he is in heaven or hell he shall always be in our hearts and making us laugh time and time again

reply

Farley has simply gone back to the earth. Until somebody proves otherwise, heaven and hell are akin to Santa's workshop and Narnia.

reply

Put it like this, if they put Chris Farley anywhere but in the sweet spot, the whole game is a sham. That is all.

reply

Interesting that you would mention Narnia as a fictitious place along with heaven, as Narnia and the stories that encapsulate it - a fantasy world of magic, mythical beasts, and talking animals; are metaphors for Jesus Christ, heaven, and Christian belief.

"The Chronicles of Narnia" author Clive Staples Lewis (C.S. Lewis) was a Christian believer. He also wrote non-fiction books in Christian apologetics, including "Mere Christianity", "Miracles", and "The Problem of Pain".

reply

He brought laughter and happiness to millions. Heaven.
