Its OK but not wonderful. There is a definite creep factor to the film, but it could have been made much better.
The script is thin & we needed more backstory on the villains for one thing.
Second, it was unrealistic in how the bad guys, even Janie, were able to fight people off. Janie can take down 4 COPS?! Really?!
Why would these 2 psychos even WANT to have a kid around? That social worker was dumb, as was that cop.
The film was a little too mean-spirited too.
I did like the ending, they dared to be rather original. The credit music was awesome also.

I really enjoyed it, too, and I was surprised at how little there is on this message board. I liked the crazy dad, and the feel of the whole movie. I honestly do not remember tons of details about it, since I saw it so long ago, but I do remember Carradine saying "you better make damn sure she's an orphan" or something like that. Menacing for sure!
