I absolutely love

I have not watched this movie for a long time but remember bits and pieces and enjoyed the positive message of the movie. They pretty much get the atmosphere of the period correct. If I remember correctly and don't have it crossed with another movie: I remember a scene where Patrick Swayze is sitting in the back yard and about three of the neighbors confront him demanding to know when he is going to get a job, get a haircut, and shave. I can understand their concern for the family since neighbors looked out for each other but these busybodies did not THINK about the fact that he was recovering from an injury and did not go back to work as fast as they thought he should. The period had a lot of good that I wish would come back but I am glad people don't have a cow anymore if someone chooses not to get a haircut or shave as often as some busybodies think they should. When it comes to stuff like that, everyone is much better off when people mind their own business.
