I think Jack's dog was the cutest dog ever that I watched in any movie.
Does anybody know how this breed is called?

I believe "Betty Jane" was played by a wirehaired Portuguese Podengo. There are three sizes of Podengo; "Betty Jane" was played by a 'grande', the largest of the three. Hope this is helpful!
