This is by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I actualy bought it before seeing it which was idiotic of me. I only bought it because Christopher Walken and Steve Buscemi were in it, and because it was cheap. Now i know why it was cheap. Not only was the story and the writing terrible, but Gabrielle Anwar's lips are way to huge. I got adgitated everytime she talked. It was so awful that whenever i started watching it I got so bored I had to turn it off and come back to it later. It took me a week to watch. So, if you have the choice wether or not to see this film, dont.

listen teehee_182, this film is a great film. Yes, it has its flaws, No, its not the greatest film of all time. But this is a bloody good film with great acting and a great story. Please tell me what was so bad, then maybe i can respect you more for disliking the film (a ladies lips are not a good reason to dislike a film)

Yes it had great actors but their acting wasnt as good as it could be. I think that if there were different actors it could have been better. It was cast wrong. Plus the plot was complete garbage. It dragged on and on.

Gabrielle's huge collaganed duck lips were so damn distracting I knew there was no way I could get past them and rate this movie any higher than a 5. I've been wondering if anyone else noticed - but how could they not?

She could have been such a beautiful girl, but those fake lips betray huge insecurities, making her the all-time unsexiest love interest ever.

Besides Gabrielle and her lips, I thought the film was poorly written, contrived, unrealistic and racist. Thumbs down all the way, except Andy Garcia, who has rarely been better.

Christopher Walken, Andy Garcia, Chirstopher Lloyd and a brilliant soundtrack. What more could you ask for? Well, actually, a helluva lot more. This had so much potential but I found this to be a terrible film. I had to watch it in two sittings because I got so bored and I've never had to do that before.

I think she's absolutely stunning in this film. She was perfect in the role of Dagney, very lovely. I wouldn't have been considering marriage with Chip though, not with Jimmy on the scene

I thought it was quite good. I guess some of us have good taste in film while others have bad taste in film. Judging by the IMDB rating, I'd clump you in the latter of the two.

All you have to tell me is that you couldn't rate it higher than a 5 simply because the girl's lips were too big to clue me in that your an IGNORAMUS.

I would watch of it for the male actors in this film and some good character acting. I agree its not for everyone's taste.

Its that man again!!
