Criterion DVD

Does anyone have the Criterion Collection version of this movie? It comes in a Double-disc edition, and I heard the Special Features and the Director's Commentary are awesome.

If Criterion were to issue this, it would be the sign of Armaggedon.

I haven't seen this movie in forever, but I loved it when I was a little kid.

Why not? Armaggedon and The Rock are both on Criterion

The 80-page booklet by renowned futuristic-dinosaur-film critic David Bordwell is very impressive as well.

Yeah, I have it it's pretty good and the documentary is very in depth but not obsessive.

It's a little hard to find these days. I had to order mine special from an alternate dimension where Theodore Rex wis not a crappy movie.

I have it. The making of is pretty interesting, but the commentary is pretty "meh." The director keeps babbling about how crappy the apartment he was staying in was. Not the finest Criterion dvd I own, but better than some.

Terrific film though, right up there with anything from Kubrick or Scorsese.
