I got all of the episodes on DVD!

My name is Chris Moriarty and I'm in all 3 Original New York City episodes. It's really cool to know people dig them. New episodes from NYC will be coming soon. I'd sure love some of the CD's of the show, I only have VHS format. I'd be happy to sign some too for real "Taxicab" fans.
The newest episodes shot in NYC over the Summer of 2003 will be airing in January on HBO but can be seen at a festival in NYC starting around October 21st. Keep in touch.

A purchase is food for thought. The show is clerverly edited - it's clear the conversations didn't flow as smoothly as aired - but I can't help thinking you could take the transcripts, hire actors and turn four or five of the segments into a stage production. If the segments presented were written or acted - they'd be considered brilliant. Why wouldn't that same brilliance come across live to an audience? I like this idea. I wish I had the ambition to make it happen.

hey I just learned of these show"s at thanksgiving in 2006. the one that aired in july of 98 with the woman who turned to heroin and prostituion is the mother of my daughter. we left her 17 years ago. before that I put her in 3 rehabs but drugs were more importion then her daughter or me. she O D in sep of 98 they found her in a motel in las vegas. the corner found my number in stuff but I had"nt talked to her in years I don"t know why she had it. but anyhow I"ll pay whatever for a copy. so me and my daughter who is 18 now can see it and maybe my daughter can understand why her mother loved drugs more then her, she never knew her, but has a picture of her,it"s been rough on her all these years.
