I think every single white character in this movie was evil. White kids beat up the black kid, white cops killed the innocent black man. If the roles were reversed and all the black people in a movie were bad I'm sure there would be a riot.
The one redeeming quality of this film was that it showed the hypocricy in Hollywood.
queenanime99 you missed the point of the OP, there were no good white characters PERIOD. there were some good black characters which dramatically out number the evil white characters. if there was a movie created that had nothing but evil black people in it you would have a problem too.
Eh not really, the only propaganda story was the one about Police Brutality. If that was supposed to be about the Rodney King incident than they failed. First Rodney King wasn't a civil rights activist, second he was drunk and high which is why they stopped him, and no the cops didn't beat him because he was black they beat him because he was resisting arrest and had started attacking the officers first. Now did the officers went too far. Of course they did. But this movie painted the police like they are all evil. The police made a mistake and they paid for it.
when you're dealing with very few characters in each little tale it's kinda hard to fit in a token "good white" person when you've got stories about racism
I'm white and I never seem to be sensitive to this "all white people are evil" idea in films- I think we all know there's a mixture of good and bad people in all races and a movie shouldn't be swaying us once we understand that
Very good point you made . I was thinking the same thing as the poster made that although this was a really good movie , I did find it racist against white society but you did make a lot of good points .
But to be fair, in many of those movies most of the characters (regardless of race) are over the top. People just notice whites more because they are the minority.
I also think some of them overdo it because people have this notion that just because someone isn't hangng folks, they're not really racist. Like some people don't believe Eastwood in Gran Torino was racist. Not that I'm necessarily disagreeing with you but I think that may be why. Not in the case of this movie bt many others.
Remember, Eastwood wasn't racist in that movie. He was just a gruff old @$$hole. He didn't hate anyone of a particular race, he hated people in general... ESPECIALLY pu$$ies.
that way you won't have to think too hard, your obviously delusional and delicate sensibilities won't be offended, and others won't have to read any more of your incredibly ignorant and myopic commentary about this film. and have you REALLY watced this film?
"Your" obviously too ignorant to even know how to consistently write a complete sentence correctly.

Before watching this movie I thought white people were awesome you know, then I saw this movie and it completely changed my stance on white people. This film is highly educational and depicts the evils of white culture in a true and accurate way.
Even if it depicts whites as bad, the movie is so good, I can live with this. It's just a horror movie, and a fine one. The only defect of this movie is that Fred Williamson, Jim Brown, or William Smith are not in it.
