i can not believe there is not a discussion about this movie...come on people i saw it about three years ago and i thought it was better than 85% of the *beep* thats usually on the television so please.....i mean..COME ON...there has to be something you like about this movie...or dislike.....:|
shareI saw this movie seven or eight years ago...I rented it, having no idea what it was about. I think I rented it because Mira Sorvino was in it. Imagine my surprise to find that it was a film about the effects of crack cocaine and how drugs can completely destroy your life. Yes, the movie is preachy but it definitely gets its message across. Michael Imperioli (pre-SOPRANOS) is very effective in the lead role, Sorvino less so as is wife. There are better movies on the subject, but if you're an Imperioli fan, you will find the film watchable.
