Did I watch the same movie?

I disagree with the reviewers of this movie on the imdb page. This has got to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It is the only movie ever that both my sposue and I have scored a zero for (both of us can usually find some positives in any movie). Although we gave it a one on imdb since they don't have a zero.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!

Well, I'm a huge fan of movies by the director/production company and I have to disagree with most of the reviewers myself. Not that I hated this movie, I actually think the action scenes are very good but unfortunately they're all poorly held together and the lead character looks silly and isn't very likeable at all.

I particularly like the two car chase scenes, the climatic chase with the Jaguar and the Crown Vic is very well executed. I also liked the chase scene with the propane tanks, which was both original and exciting if a bit over the top. The rooftop chase which ends with a somewhat sadistic and impressive stunt was cool too and the shootouts aren't bad.

However, the good action is really surrounded by an extremely poor movie. The script is awful, I was under the impression that C Thomas Howell would run into the man called Christopher who killed his family but no, and with the killing of Ed Lauter's character at the end, little would be resolved because he stated that he wasn't the leader of the vigilante group so. There's also some dreadful continuity errors, such as the part where indoors it's clearly daylight, but when they go outside it's pitch black. And another scene has C Thomas Howell jump out a window and go through the roof of a van. It cuts to stock footage from the production company's earler film "T-Force" where the van is suddenly surrounded by police vehicles and now beside a modern glass fronted building (as opposed to the old stone built building in the previous shot). In the next cut, it's all changed back. And C Thomas Howell looks ridiculous in the lead, and just can't make a convincing tough guy. And the part where he's introduced to "JI" by that woman who promises him "the best blowjob..." is cringingly embarassing.

I'm also a big fan of Merhi. How do you feel about his new movie "Oranges"?
