Who Sings Opening Theme?

I am looking for the name of the artist who sings "I Want To Be Happy".

The song is called "I Want To Be Happy". It's an old swing standard (Ella Fitzgerald does it for one) but I've never heard it done like in the movie, which I love. I can only figure it's actually "Stuart" singing it. It's not on the official soundtrack so I have no idea where to get it but I'd love to have the whole thing.

The song is originally from the 1925 Broadway musical "No, No, Nanette." The musical was revived in 1971 featuring 1930s movie musical heroine Ruby Keeler. A recording of the revival is available at amazon.
