2 mins into the movie: They meet for the 1st time
4 mins: He asks her out for the 1st time
6 mins: Go on their first date
10 mins: They attempt to have sex for the first time, but she says no
12 mins: After she says no, he asks her to marry her and she accepts
14 mins: The actual wedding.
LOL, still a good movie though, just the start was abit ridiculous.
I know right! She didn't even know him!
I also thought it bizarre how she refused sex with him because she was scared and scarred by what happened to her, yet we never see a shred of this same fear or hesitation for the rest of the film! She just 'instantly' gets over it and acts lustfully from then on.
She does a few odd things, like trying to leave him while he's still home. Why not wait until HE IS NOT HOME?!

There probably one of those crazy small town christians who dont believe in sex before marriage, of course no one can wait so they get married in a rush.
