Does anyone know if he was let out of prison and if she kept in contact with him?

I know, thats I wanted to know. I tried to find information on the case/events online but there was nothing.

I know. Personaly I loved this movie, it was almost a beautiful love story. If I had been her in real life, I would have waited for him. But then again that's that.

Didn't he say he was going to kill her? And was very abusive, both physcially and emotionally. And was in and out of mental institutions his whole life. He didn't just go to prison for no reason, he deserved it.

There was nothing remotely beautiful about their love story, he was violent and abusive (both physically and emotionally) and was in definate need of psychiatric help. he was in no way worth waiting for and if you think he was you are deluded..

I agree with you, once he served time and he got counseling i believe they both loved eachother and would be together.

If you liked this movie as much as I did, you should watch another film that Tracey Gold and Thomas Calabro starred in together called "Sleep, Baby, Sleep". He plays a detective that helps find her baby after it goes mysteriously missing. I love Tracey's films.
