Who has seen this movie? And what do you think?

Saw it last night. In, alas, a very poor dubbed French version. Had it on my video shelf since a long time. Couldn't decide to watch it. Why ? Just don't know. But since it was a Clint Eastwood co-production, I finally decided to watch it. Was surprised. It's extremely well directed, acted and produced. Yes, produced. It's almost a super-production. Most have cost a lot of money to do it. And it is really the first time I see a cat who is "acting" so well. God knows you can't do anything with cats on screen. Or very little. But this one?! How did they do it is a good question. And it is not some kind of "special effects". They brought the cat from the Animal Studio "training" somewhere. How in the world can you trained a cat for a movie. You must see it to believe. He is always following his master, Duvall. Anyone has seen this movie? What do you think of it. Thought all the acting was very good. Had never seen Frances Fisher (except in a very unworthy role in Titanic). She's good. Really good.
