Sil hypnotized Fitch?

Someone working on the Wikipedia article on "Species" wrote that, after kidnapping the woman, when Sil is observing the team, "Sitting in the car near Carey's home, she hypnotizes Fitch over distance to order the team to search for her in the nightclub."

I have never taken away from this or any other scene in the movie, that Sil has hypnotic powers, whether close-up or over a distance, nor that she has any ESP of any kind. I have always taken Fitch's decision to take the team back to the club as the best thing he could come up with. It's already established that he has relatively poor judgment, so I never thought anything more of it. And I've never gotten it, from the close-ups of Sil in this scene, as she watches, that she's hypnotizing Fitch.

Is this documented, that is, was this actually written in the script, or is it mentioned in the novelization of the script? Or is it a figment of some Wikipedia contributor's imagination?

Just watched the movie-the scene you're talking about was in there, and I was as confused as you were.

I saw the scene but I always took it that she was lip reading and eaves dropping on the conversation rather then projecting instructions. Theres a small delay between fitches words and when sill appears to be repeating them.
