I saw this in the theatres when it opened and thought it was brilliant. I finally got the DVD just a few days ago and... and couldn't understand very much of it at all! Were the original Glaswegan accents dubbed over in the theatrical release for wider distribution, like the opening of "Trainspotting"? Or were there subtitles, like "Ratcatcher"? I don't remember being this confused before!

Or maybe I'm just getting older and stupider. Yes, it's probably that.
