Really, if anyone has this information or has gone through every book and counted the number of lives lost to the remorseless killing machine that is Sharpe, post it, please.
I don't know how many he has killed. Do you really think he is remorseless? I think he kills because he has to more so than not. He may regret some killings less than others, but overall, I think he would not kill if he didn't have to. I wonder about the times he has had an opportunity to kill and then didn't.
shareOK, You have a point. To be fair to Sharpe, he rarely kills some one unless he has to. Replace "remorseless" with "habitual." And don't even try to tell me he's not a killing machine!

How many people has anyone killed in a war? If you are firing a rifle or musket into the enemy, do you know where your bullets are going?
I remember asking my dad, who fought the Japanese, how many he had killed. I realise now that it is a stupid question and I'm glad he didn't tell me.
