Unquestionably the best film of 1995

I love this film. It is warm, intelligent, well-acted, literate, all a good film should be, Yet it somehow lost to that stunning mediocrity Braveheart in 1995. I had been losing respect for the Oscars for years. 1995 was the year I lost ALL respect.

Heat, Sling Blade and Kids are fantastic films, but yes - Sense... is sublime. Just watched it again tonight for perhaps the fifth or sixth time. Just beautiful.

Well, to me it's one of the best films of all time. I have a lengthy list of favorite films, but this is definitely in my top 5.

Well, I have to say that I liked "Braveheart" too. But this one is very good as well och much less gory and brutal.

Intelligence and purity.
