A nitpick

Just bought this on a whim a couple of weeks ago. Figured with my love of sci-fi action/horror that I'd like it... and I did. One thing was particularly cringe worthy however.

When Hendrickson and Jefferson set out from the base to NEB HQ, the soundtrack is atrocious. Who puts a blues tune in the middle of a space movie? There should have been some kind of orchestral score there, so you can see the scope of the landscape. I literally was shaking my head and laughing.

I did enjoy the film though. Even with all of it's flaws, it's an honest piece of sci-fi.

Heh. I know what you mean, but it doesn't bother me; anyway, I think Jefferson is supposed to be listening to it.

Glad you like the movie. I do too.

Yeah, great minds think alike. Hadn't seen you or Tyger on the Terminator boards in a while. That place is a ghost town.

Screamers was pretty good. Of course how do you not like something with Peter Weller in it?

You have to remember that people in such a situation want to feel human, even on a distant planet, so they are going to listen to their favorite music, it really doesn't matter that it doesn't fit the scene.

Jefferson starts to listen to it. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to (obviously) be out of place...
