I thought exactly the same thing, though for me, it really wasn't that it was dated, it's just how terrible it was. When that happened, it's as if it all of a sudden turned into a made for TV film. Thank God that was the only time you hear that awful music.

It was a really dumb scenario. Why would the inexperienced rookie let himself be distracted with music when he needed to be alert for dangers, such as listening for the screamers' screams. Joe eventually orders him to take the headphones off, but he shouldn't have had them on at all.🐭
