Before she leaves for Paris?
She looks and acts like she just graduated from high school. At the very least, she seems college age.
She goes off to Paris for a year(?) and comes back extremely mature and worldly.
It's like she went from 18 to her late 20's. Did I miss something there?
In the original she's 22.

shareit's hard to tell because what is she supposed to be doing with her life? Was Paris a gap year before college or after college? You don't see her planning her future other than David.
