well..i guess you know the right answer braino

i thought it was a DTV release but on imdb it shows you 2 posters that both say 1996 theatrical release. view all the posters and you will see wut i mean

I actually remember seeing the commercials for this on tv. All I remember was him saying that tag line "this ain't no fairy tale"

I was only 4 in 1995, but from what I gather, theatrical. In 1995, B movies didn't really have as much of a struggle getting theatrical play near as much as they did in 2000 or so, mainly because studios hadn't yet taken control over theaters.

And, DVD wasn't around then... if I remember right, DVD came out in 1997 (maybe 96?) and I know it didn't take off until 2001 or so, maybe a little bit before that.

Lol, I think you meant straight to VHS. ;P But I believe this did have a limited theatrical release.
