as the movie is playing on encore at this very moment...is this a "made for tv" movie that is a starter for the viper spin off that happened?

or one of those movies that they had on "action pack" or whatever the heck that pay per view thing was in the mid 90's? (thank god for illegal cable boxes back then)

Yes, it was the pilot for a 'Viper' like series. I actually remember it running back in 97.

Yeah, it was a pilot.
I'd never heard of it. But I watched enough of it to figure out why it wasn't picked up.
