How did Rob Roy not die from that wound


At the end the wound to his hand surely needed much medical attention and he could easily have bled to death along with is other wounds, or lost his hand or die due to infection.

I was thinking the exact same thing! But if he died later because of an infection or something at least he dies protecting his family with a good name.

Your point is well made, but let's face it. in films such as this, they rarely worry too much about the dangers of infection and wounds seem to heal pretty quickly.🐭

People never die in movies unless the script calls for it.

This movie is not set in the stone age....they did have herbal medicine back then...I'm sure men survived worse wounds even in those days and live..

All of the wounds given by Archie were superficial, none really more than a 0.25 inch deep. Easily cleaned and easily mended.




Whether the glass is half full or half empty is irrelevant when you realize the liquid in the glass was poison and you just drank half.
