Definitely worth seeking out -- not the greatest movie ever, but it gives a fairly representative view of college life in the 90's, and offers an interesting look at what was and still is a raging topic (date rape).

shareI liked it, its filmed in my hometown and where I went to college, plus the opening scene is at my dad's bar so view of the film is a little different than most.
shareIt is NOT an afterschool movie (coming from someone who grew up actually coming home from school to those...). It is a movie somewhat of its time in that "date rape" was a huge topic then, but the topic is still relevant now and in no way does this movie sensationalize it. I always wondered why this movie was relegated to HBO because it is that good.
