Unconvincing ending


I didn't think that the way that Tennyson got Maria Henry to admit her guilt was at all convincing. There was another woman in the interview room, presumeably a Social Worker for 15 year old Polly Henry, who would have intervened when Tennyson started bullying Polly. She didn't say a word. Plus the capitulation of Maria Henry to stop the bullying didn't seem in character. Anyone else have a view on this?

I kind of agree. I felt the writing was a lot weaker in this series, compared to the rest. However, it is drama, so these things happen because they need to.

Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
