People are afraid of anything that is different

Especially in this movie, most people looked at Jeremy and automatically judged him just because he is different, I hate ignorant people.

reply

Yes. He wasn't the bold, loud, ignorant hillbilly that the majority of punks were in that school. They had no future and they knew that and the hate they had for themselves poured over to those who were in their environs.

Judging everyone different from you as a "bold loud ignorant hillbilly" is ironically very hateful and judgmental.

Why did you get an F in English? DO YOU WANT THE BRITISH TO WIN???/? -George Washington?

reply

That's hypocritical. You're hating people (which is ignorant in itself) who are different from you. You're also "judging" them.

He had a freaky appearance, of course people will be weirded out. That's human nature, even though some of them were being cruel (though most people would admit that is also human nature). You guys shouldn't act like you'd jump on the welcome wagon for him.

reply

Yes , I hate those fictional people who were created to make powder sympathetic. I also judge hillbillys based on movies I've watched.

reply

it's good to hate what's different when they are rapists or child molesters.

edit, like the director of this movie or bill cosby.
