Who would you cast as a live version of Pocahontas?

Well, she's not Native American, but I do think Priyanka Chopra kind of looks like the cartoon Pocahontas, nonetheless. The coloring and the lips in particular.

I also think she would be a good fit for the role, acting-wise.

Terrible suggestions... if they do a live action Pocahontas movie they should cast a Native American actress... most likely an unknown woman in her early 20s (the character was about 17 in the Disney version).

I would probably cast Ian McKellen as Radcliffe, Ethan Hawke as Thomas, and maybe Chris Hemsworth as John Smith.

I was thinking Moon Bloodgood personally, though I know she's a bit older.

Pocahontas should be played by an unknown Native actress. But if I had to choose who I'd like to see play the role, it would be Ashley Callingbull (current Mrs. Universe). As for the other roles, I think Wes Studi and Rudy Youngblood would be great for Powhatan and Kocuom respectively. I can see Robbie Coltrane as Ratcliffe but I'm not sure for the rest of the English crew and especially John Smith.

The 2005 film The New World did a pretty good job with it!
